Heart on the Mission

Our ultimate goal is always to help people be awakened to the reality of Jesus. Our premarital process does that by pairing engaged couples with seasoned married couples to walk through the Prepare & Enrich curriculum, setting them up for a healthy and long marriage.

Procedure

We currently offer one package which includes a 6-week course and officiant. The cost is $450. We do not currently offer just one piece at a time.

Interest from the couple

When a couple is interested in premarital with VIVE Church, we first want to have their local Pastor reach out, either by meeting on site during a Sunday or via phone call. This allows the Pastoral Team to get to know them and ensure this is a good fit for the couple.

There is no list that qualifies or disqualifies couples; it is done on a case by case basis. Some main things we flag are:

• Timing of the process. We do not rush the course. Our heart is to set them up well and give them time to walk through all areas brought up through the Prepare & Enrich curriculum with their facilitators.
• Home church. Our heart with premarital is not just completion of a course, but to set up the couple in health and community. When we connect them well into the house at the beginning, they have support during their engagement and their marriage.
• Once the Campus Pastor has agreed this course is a good fit for the couple, we will confirm that you can pass the link on to the couple. This is not a public link.
• Couple submits the application and the Pastoral Team will review.
• The Pastoral Team will respond with receipt of the application and additional details, and pair them with our premarital couples who have been trained to walk them through the program.
